Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Empowering teens through food justice

open access: yesJournal of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Community Development
Youth food justice programs hire teenagers to engage in food justice projects in their neighborhoods. These community-oriented programs encourage youth to discover and develop their natural strengths by farming, taking advantage of leadership ...

An evaluation of the measurement properties of the Five Cs model of positive youth development.

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2015
There is growing recognition of the need to develop acceptable measures of adolescent’s positive attributes in diverse contexts. The current study evaluated the measurement properties of the Five Cs model of Positive Youth Development (PYD) scale ...

Boundaries: A Boundary Setting and Social Competence Program for Parents and Youth

open access: yesJournal of Human Sciences and Extension, 2021
Learning to set age-appropriate boundaries is an integral element of positive youth development. Both parents and youth need guidance in rule-rsetting and negotiating boundaries. North Dakota State University Extension created Boundaries, a program using

Near‐Infrared‐Driven Metal–Organic Frameworks‐Based Nanorobots for Controlled Photothermal‐Chemical Therapy Synergistic Induction of Cancer Cell Death

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
To achieve efficient cancer cell death, a bowl‐shaped PDA@UiO‐66@DOX nanorobot drug‐delivery nanoplatform was developed. Near‐infrared irradiation not only drives the nanorobot to exhibit self‐thermophoretic motion and elevates temperature but also triggers Doxorubicin (DOX) release via hyperthermia, enhancing cancer cells uptake of DOX and thereby ...

Looking Back and Looking Around: How Athletes, Parents and Coaches See Psychosocial Development in Adolescent Performance Sport

open access: yesSports, 2022
Sport has the potential to support psychosocial development in young people. However, extant studies have tended to evaluate purpose-built interventions, leaving regular organised sport relatively overlooked.

Spatiotemporal Sequential Delivery of Chidamide Regulates Macrophage Reprogramming in Lymphoma Microenvironment Through HDACs‐STAT3 Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our study identifies the HDACs‐STAT3 axis as key regulator for M2 macrophage accumulation in DLBCL. We developed Chid@M2pep‐EVs/TP, a pH‐responsive drug delivery system for M2 macrophage specific chidamide administration. By coupling M2‐targeted chidamide with EVs‐mediated delivery, this system reprograms M2 to M1 via HDAC inhibition and STAT3 ...

N, S Co‐Doped Carbon Quantum Dots‐Riboflavin Composite Photosensitizers for Enhanced Iontophoresis‐Assisted Corneal Cross‐Linking

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study explores the use of N, S co‐doped carbon quantum dots (NS‐CQDs) as carriers for riboflavin, creating NS‐CQDs‐RF composite photosensitizers. These composites improve riboflavin absorption, enhance ROS generation efficiency, and preserve corneal epithelium integrity.

Targeting UXS1‐Dependent Glucuronate Detoxification Potentiates Metformin's Anti‐Tumor Efficacy in Lung Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that metformin promotes glucuronic acid metabolism in lung adenocarcinoma by activating UGDH S476 phosphorylation and enhancing the conversion of UDPG to UDPGA based on metabolomics analysis. Through compound virtual screening, it is found that plantainoside targeting UGDH downstream UXS1 leads to UDPGA toxicity accumulation ...
