Stress Analysis of Post-Buckled Sandwich Panels
Volume 3: Structures, Safety, and Reliability, 2018The paper presents a method to assess stresses in sandwich plates with periodic microstructure in the post-buckling region. The fundamental assumption is that the microstructure is linear elastic and von Karman non-linearity is present only at macro-, i.e. panel-scale.

Post-Buckling of Redundant Rectangular Beams
Journal of the Engineering Mechanics Division, 1975The post-buckling behavior of redundant single-span rectangular members is investigated using an equilibrium approach and large potential reserves of strength are shown to exist. In some cases, loads up to three times the initial buckling loads can be supported before the deformations and stresses exceed acceptable limits.

Thermal post-buckling of circular plates
Computers & Structures, 1984The thermal post-buckling behaviour of isotropic circular plates has been studied in this paper by a simple finite element formulation. The accuracy of the solution by finite element method is established through a solution by the Rayleigh-Ritz method for simply-supported circular plates.
