Effect of post-weld heat treatment on AA6351 friction stir welds
Abstract Al-Mg-Si (6xxx) alloys have superior properties to other aluminium alloys, making them suitable for aerospace and defence applications. However, their weldments are susceptible to various issues that affect their microstructural changes, mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance.

Effect of Notches on the Axial Fatigue Properties of Structural Steels [PDF]
The effect of the stress concentration on the zero-to-tension axial fatigue strength of notched members of four structural steels has been studied. For each of the four steels a critical notch severity was found at which a transition in behavior takes

Abstract This case report highlights the experience of one maxillofacial surgical patient who delayed prosthodontic treatment for 7 years as they saved to self‐fund access to a subsidized prosthodontic service. Without the benefit of a restored opposing dentition for a prolonged period of time, maxillary occlusal plane disruption occurred as a ...

EVALUATION OF WELDED JOINT (SMAW) AFTER POST WELD HEAT TREATMENT (PWHT)
Joining of two materials having similar physical, chemical, and thermal properties and to make the joint tough and stiff, special attention and investigation are required. In this research, the welding joint between two mild steel (MS) of IS 2062 grade E, was accomplished by using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).

Experimental Factors and Techniques for Pool Boiling Heat Transfer Enhancement: A Critical Review
ABSTRACT This review presents a comprehensive assessment of active strategies for enhancing pool boiling heat transfer, with a focus on techniques that do not rely solely on the boiling surface modification. It examines a broad range of methodologies including fluid additives, external fields, mechanical interventions, and thermal‐geometric tuning that
