Death of a cluster: the destruction of M67 as seen by the SDSS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We probe the spatial and dynamical structure of the old open cluster M67 using photometric data from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey's sixth data release.

Fracture resistance of tooth restored with four glass fiber post systems of varying surface geometries: an in vitro study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Background: The purpose of this study was to relate the fracture resistance of endodontically treated teeth in relation to post geometry. Material and Methods: Forty single rooted mandibular premolars were instrumented by step - back technique and ...

Comparison of the fracture resistance of endodontically treated teeth restored with prefabricated posts and composite resin cores with different post lenghts

open access: yesJournal of Applied Oral Science, 2007
OBJECTIVE: This study evaluated the fracture strengths of endodontically treated teeth restored with prefabricated posts with different post lengths. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Thirty freshly extracted canines were endodontically treated.

Perfluorocarbon Enhanced Glasgow Oxygen Level Dependent (GOLD) magnetic resonance metabolic imaging identifies the penumbra following acute ischemic stroke [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The ability to identify metabolically active and potentially salvageable ischaemic penumbra is crucial for improving treatment decisions in acute stroke patients.

Immediate and delayed photoactivation of self-adhesive resin cements and retention of glass-fiber posts

open access: yesBrazilian Oral Research, 2014
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of immediate and delayed photoactivation of self-adhesive resin cements (SARCs) on the retention of glass-fiber posts luted into root canals.

Effect of photo core, LuxaCore, and core max II core building materials on fracture resistance of endodontically-treated teeth restored with fiber-reinforced composite posts and ParaPosts

open access: yesDental Research Journal, 2020
Background: Post and core treatment is commonly performed for endodontically treated teeth to replace the lost tooth structure and reinforce and protect the remaining dental tissue.

MHD Simulations of Core Collapse Supernovae with Cosmos++

open access: yes, 2010
We performed 2D, axisymmetric, MHD simulations with Cosmos++ in order to examine the growth of the magnetorotational instability (MRI) in core--collapse supernovae.

Giant increase in critical current density of KxFe2-ySe2 single crystals

open access: yes, 2012
By using post-annealing and quenching technique, we show that the critical current density Jc,ab of KxFe2-ySe2 single crystals can be enhanced more than one order of magnitude up to ~ 2.1 \times 10^4 A/cm^2 at 1.8 K.
