A Dual‐Bioresponsive and Programmable Microneedle Matrix as a Bioinspired Coupler for Orchestrating Diabetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.

An Injectable Electroactive Hydrogel Engineered for Stable Bioelectronic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Injectable electroconductive hydrogels enable soft, conformal, and stable bioelectronic interfaces for electroceutical therapies. A catechol‐modified hyaluronic acid/alginate/edge‐functionalized graphene platform combines wet adhesion, shear‐thinning injectability, tissue‐matched mechanics, and electrochemical functionality.

Flexible Implantable Silicon Carbide Multi‐Electrode Array (MEA) for Cell Multichannel Recording and Cell Ablation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Flexible silicon carbide (SiC) microelectrode arrays enable high‐fidelity, multichannel cell extracellular recording and precise localized ablation. SiC has been extensively evaluated to persist long‐term in chronic physiological conditions while remaining robust, with excellent electrical and electrochemical stability.

Cross‐Scale Hierarchical Targeted Delivery System Based on Small‐Scale Magnetic Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article reviews a cross‐scale hierarchical targeted delivery system that integrates magnetic continuum robots and magnetic microrobots. By combining rapid long‐range navigation with precise microscale targeting, the system overcomes key limitations of single‐scale approaches.

HYPERTENSION IN THE IMMEDIATE POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD

open access: yesBritish Journal of Anaesthesia, 1975
Sixty patients out of 1,844 recovery room admissions had significant postoperative arterial hypertension. Nearly 60% of them had a history of hypertension. The postoperative hypertension usually began within 30 min from the end of operation and lasted about 2 hours. In 20% of the patients it lasted 3 hours or longer.

Piezo2 Mediates a Vicious Cycle of “Mechanical Homeostasis Imbalance—Inflammation” in Sensory Nerves and the Cartilage Endplate

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In a lumbar spine instability model, dorsal root ganglion cells mediate the perception of relevant mechanical stresses through Piezo2 and subsequently release CGRP. CGRP activates the NF‐κB signaling pathway in cartilage endplate cells through the receptor RAMP1.

Acquired Hemophilia Developing After Whipple Operation

open access: yesActa Haematologica Oncologica Turcica
Acquired hemophilia A (AHA) is a rare bleeding disorder. It is caused by autoantibodies produced against endogenous coagulation factors, without a family history of hemophilia. The incidence has been reported as 1.4 per million.
