Delivery mode and maternal health conditions before and after childbirth: A population‐based cohort study from Estonia

Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Cesarean section is associated with higher rates of chronic health conditions and pregnancy‐related complications, whereas vaginal delivery is more commonly linked to pelvic floor and perineal complications. These findings emphasize the need for individualized decision‐making and thorough counseling about the risks and benefits of each delivery method.

Adherence to Stillbirth Guidelines and Women's Psychological Well‐Being: The CLASS (CiaoLApo Stillbirth Support) Cross‐Sectional Study

CLASS checklist adherence was evaluated in a web‐based survey of 261 women who experienced stillbirth in Italy. Greater adherence to evidence‐based stillbirth care guidelines was associated with higher satisfaction and respectful care, as well as lower levels of perinatal grief and PTSD symptoms.
