Abstract Neuroanatomy studies in vertebrates have garnered significant attention in recent years, particularly driven by advancements in computerized tomography imaging techniques. Nonetheless, these advancements remain largely constrained to specific vertebrate groups, notably mammals, birds, and fish, leaving studies in reptiles at an incipient stage.

Whole‐bone shape of hominoid manual proximal phalanges
Abstract Functional morphologists have long noted that skeletal adaptations in primate phalanges reflect locomotor behavior. While most studies have successfully used two‐dimensional measurements to quantify general features of phalanx shape, a whole‐bone three‐dimensional analysis may better capture more subtle aspects of phalanx morphology that have ...

Nelore (N) and Nelore × Pantaneiro (NP) heifers exhibited similar grazing times, which were higher compared with Nelore × Angus (NA) heifers. Nelore heifers showed higher wither height and hip height values compared with NP heifers. The average values for NA heifers did not differ from the other genotypes. It was observed that chest depth, heart girth,

GTA-Net: An IoT-Integrated 3D Human Pose Estimation System for Real-Time Adolescent Sports Posture Correction [PDF]
With the advancement of artificial intelligence, 3D human pose estimation-based systems for sports training and posture correction have gained significant attention in adolescent sports. However, existing methods face challenges in handling complex movements, providing real-time feedback, and accommodating diverse postures, particularly with occlusions,

ABSTRACT Postural control deviations remain largely unexplored in middle aged and older autistic adults. With the increased prevalence of neurodegenerative conditions and heightened fall risk, precise quantification of postural variability and coordination may provide valuable insights into aging associated neuromotor deviations in autistic adults ...

Towards postural balance control of exoskeletons
Lower-limb wearable exoskeletons have been designed to assist people that have a spinal cord injury during standing and walking. However, because these people generally also have impaired balance, it is difficult, if not impossible for them to operate these exoskeletons without additional supporting aids, such as crutches.
