Interstitial Compounds of Potassium with Carbon Fibres
Nature, 1968THE formation of interstitial compounds of potassium in graphite is well known and the phases C8K, C10K, C24K, C36K and others have been identified and their physical and chemical properties measured by several authors1–9.

Tailor-made Oligosilyl Potassium Compounds
Organometallics, 2002A number of differently substituted oligosilyl potassium compounds have been prepared by reaction of the respective trimethylsilylated precursors with potassium tert-butoxide. It has been demonstrated that in the presence of larger trialkylsilyl groups always trimethylsilyl groups are removed selectively.

Flame Inhibition by Potassium-Containing Compounds
Combustion Science and Technology, 2017A kinetic model of inhibition by the potassium-containing compound potassium bicarbonate is suggested. The model is based on the previous work concerning kinetic studies of suppression of secondary flashes, inhibition by alkali metals and the emission of sulfates and chlorides during biomass combustion.

Unusual Chemical Behavior for Potassium under Pressure: Potassium−Silver Compounds
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1996At high pressures, there are large changes in the size and electron concentration of the alkali metals. As a result, significant changes should occur in the solid-state chemistry of these elements, allowing the formation of alkali metal−transition metal compounds. The formation of two alkali metal−transition metal compounds, K3Ag and K2Ag, is reported.

Potassium-oxygen graphite intercalation compounds
Synthetic Metals, 1994Abstract Intercalation of potassium superoxide KO 2 into graphite in the presence of potassium metal was studied. Graphite intercalation compounds of stage 1 (assigned formula C 4 KO 2 , c -axis repeat distance 8.44 A) and stage 2 (assigned formula C 8 KO 2 , c -axis repeat distance 11.75 A) were synthesized and isolated for the first time.
