Carbonate- and silicate-metasomatized mantle beneath Himalayan-Tibetan orogenic belt
The extreme geochemical enrichment of post-collisional potassium-rich lava in the Alpine-Himalayan orogenic belt has led researchers to hypothesize that enrichment is inherited from a metasomatized mantle source potentially incorporating crustal ...

Enhanced hydrogen species migration enabled by FN/BZY catalyst mitigates intermediate accumulation and improves DA‐PCFC performance during ammonia decomposition. Ammonia, with its high hydrogen density and carbon‐free nature, serves as ideal fuel for direct ammonia protonic ceramic fuel cells (DA‐PCFCs).

Rigid Ligand Environments at Beryllium, From Spectroscopic Probes to Small Molecule Activation
Due to the high rigidity and definition of beryllium scorpionate complexes, they can be used to study metal‐pseudohalide and ‐carbon bonds in detail. Furthermore, these compounds can be used to activate small molecules and exhibit unprecedented transmetalation reactions. In beryllium scorpionate complexes, three of the four available coordination sites

Growth and Nitrogen Fixation in Silicon and/or Potassium Fed Chickpeas Grown under Drought and Well Watered Conditions [PDF]
A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of silicon (Si) and/or potassium (K) on plant growth, nitrogen uptake and N2-fixation in water stressed (FC1) and well watered (FC2) chickpea plants using 15N and 13C isotopes. Three fertilizer rates of

This study reports the exceptional preservation of the Eocene freshwater bivalve Batissa sitakaraensis from Hokkaido, Japan. Multimodal analyses reveal that both the aragonitic shell mineralogy and the delicate organic periostracum retain their original structural and chemical characteristics after millions of years.

Streamlined Synthesis of Triamantane from Readily Available Starting Materials
A practical laboratory synthesis of triamantane based on the McKervey modification of the Schleyer stabilomeric synthesis is described. A high‐yielding rearrangement of Binor‐S and a significantly facilitated Diels–Alder step allowed an operationally simple sequence that reliably delivers triamantane on a tens‐of‐grams scale.
