Electrical Transport of Nb‐Doped MoS2 Homojunction P–N Diode: Investigating NDR and Avalanche Effect

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Niobium (Nb)‐doped molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) p‐type–n‐type (p–n) homojunction diodes are engineered using thickness‐controlled homo‐interfaces. Current–voltage (I–V) characteristics reveal gate‐tunable rectification, wavelength‐dependent photoresponse, and low‐bias switching.

Engineering Iridium–Ruthenium Dual‐Atomic Active Sites on Redox‐Active Covalent Organic Frameworks for Boosted Overall Water Splitting

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Atomically dispersed IrRu dual‐atomic sites are anchored on donor‐acceptor‐based redox‐active COF for overall water electrolysis, and the active sites separation mechanism induced by giant multifunctional active‐site synergistic enhancement (MASE) effect was explored by the operando spectroscopy and DFT calculations.

Alteration of Phase Transformation Behavior and Prior Austenite Grain Structure Due to Elevated Tramp Element Concentrations in a Hypoeutectoid Steel

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
The phase transformation behavior of a hypoeutectoid steel is studied in comparison with alloys containing higher concentrations of tramp elements, simulating high recycling rates. The examination of microstructures reveals that the tramp elements facilitate the formation of displacive phases along with retained austenite.

Influence of Hydrogen Fuel Mixtures on the Oxide Scale Formation of Low‐Carbon Steels in Reheating Furnace Conditions

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
This work illustrates how substituting natural gas with hydrogen as fuel in the reheating furnace will influence the oxide scale formation on the steel surface. Thermogravimetric analysis and characterization techniques are used to investigate oxidation behavior and the formation of oxide phases.
