Powder preparation and compaction behaviour of fine-grained Y-TZP [PDF]
Two wet chemical preparation methods are described for yttria-doped tetragonal zirconia powders. Both methods yield powders with an extremely small crystallite size (8 nm) and a narrow size distribution.

Influence of Powder Deposition on Powder Bed and Specimen Properties [PDF]
Three-dimensional printing used to be a rapid prototyping process, but nowadays it is establishing as an additive manufacturing (AM) process. One of these AM techniques is selective laser sintering (SLS), which most often involves partial melting of the particles and therefore belongs to the category of powder bed fusion processes.

Synthesis of CoAl2O4 by double decomposition reaction between LiAlO2 and molten KCoCl3 [PDF]
Submicronic CoAl2O4 powders were prepared by double decomposition reaction between solid LiAlO2 and molten KCoCl3 at 500 ◦C for 24 h. The reaction mechanism involves the dissolution of LiAlO2 shifted by the precipitation of CoAl2O4 until complete ...

Catalytic chemical vapor deposition synthesis of single- and double-walled carbon nanotubes from α-(Al1−xFex)2O3 powders and self-supported foams [PDF]
An investigation of the potential interest of α-alumina–hematite foams, as opposed to powders, as starting materials for the synthesis of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) by catalytic chemical vapor deposition method was performed.

Microstructure of Ba1−xLaxTiO3−δ ceramics sintered by spark plasma sintering [PDF]
Nano-sized Ba1−xLaxTiO3 (0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.14) powders were prepared by a coprecipitation method and calcined at 850 °C in air. The corresponding ceramics were obtained by Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) at 1050 °C.
