Magnetic rotatory power of liquid polymers
Journal of Polymer Science, 1948AbstractThe Verdet constants of nine polyethylene glycols, three polypropylene glycols, and nine silicone polymers have been measured at 25°C. It was found that the Verdet constant increases with increase in molecular weight in each of the series, and approaches a constant value. A similar increase in the molecular magnetic rotation was noted.

The thermoelectric power of liquid Fe, Co and Ni
Philosophical Magazine, 1977Abstract The thermoelectric power has been measured on both sides of the melting point for Fe, Co and Ni. The data for the liquid state are discussed in terms of the s-d scattering model proposed by Mott (1972).

Optical rotatory power of liquid crystal mixtures
Chemical Physics Letters, 1970Addition of l-menthol to a nematic mesophase produces a considerable optical rotatory power, the temperature dependence of which is in excellent agreement with the optical properties of cholesteric liquid cyrstals. Thus, the conclusion was drawn that small optically active molecules which do not form a mesophase transform nematic into cholesteric ...
