For a progressive multifocal liquid lens with an elastic membrane deformed by liquid pressure, to realize a reasonably power distribution, asymmetric deformation characteristics of the membrane surface are needed. Based on the asymmetric freeform surface

Experimental Study on the Heat Transfer Performance of Pump-Assisted Capillary Phase-Change Loop
To overcome the two-phase flow instability of traditional boiling heat dissipation technologies, a porous wick was used for liquid-vapor isolation, achieving efficient and stable boiling heat dissipation.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

The resistivity and thermoelectric power of liquid Ag-Pd alloys [PDF]
The resistivity (?) and the thermoelectric power (S) have been measured as functions of concentration and temperature for the liquid alloy system Ag-Pd. Comparison is made between the experimental results and the theoretical predictions of a nearly free electron model adapted for liquid transition metals. It is concluded that such a theory is unable to

Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

II. On the solvent power of liquid cyanogen [PDF]
Abstract In the following experiments a number of stout tubes of refractory glass of the annexed shape were employed. Each tube was closed at one end, and had a flanged mouth at the other. The limb A was 11/2 inch long, the limb B 2 inches, and C 7 inches.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.
