Power Allocation for Cache-Aided Small-Cell Networks With Limited Backhaul

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
Cache-aided small-cell network is becoming an effective method to improve the transmission rate and reduce the backhaul load. Due to the limited capacity of backhaul, less power should be allocated to users whose requested contents do not exist in the ...

Power Allocation and Co-Design of Multicarrier Communication and Radar Systems for Spectral Coexistence

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 2019
This paper explores multicarrier waveforms to improve the spectrum efficiency of radar and communication systems that cooperatively coexist in the same bandwidth. We propose two joint design paradigms based on sharing and allocation, respectively.

Monolithic 3D‐Integrated All‐Solid Ion‐Gated Carbon Nanotube Transistors With Tunable Ionic Conductance for Multi‐Timescale Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐timescale reservoir based on monolithically 3D (M3D)‐integrated CNT solid ion‐gated transistors is demonstrated. Tunable ionic dynamics and pulse‐engineered operation enable linear and symmetric synaptic updates. The M3D‐integrated array achieves robust temporal encoding and accurate classification of moving MNIST sequences, highlighting its ...

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

A Wireless, Passive Multimodal Wearable Sensor With Decoupled Sensing Capabilities

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A wireless passive multimodal electronic skin is presented for the simultaneous perception of pressure, humidity, and odor through a frequency‐divided LC resonator array. The decoupled sensing architecture suppresses cross‐interference and enables independent signal readout under superimposed stimuli while maintaining high stability.

Direct Observation of Propagating Spin Waves in a Spin Hall Nano‐Oscillator

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
By combining frequency injection locking with time‐resolved scanning transmission x‐ray microscopy (TR‐STXM), the authors image the real‐time magnetization dynamics of a spin Hall nano‐oscillator (SHNO) for the first time. Their results reveal richer dynamics than previously reported and challenge existing assumptions regarding the radiation hardness ...

Pilot Power Allocation for OFDM in DAS

open access: yesJournal of Networks, 2012
In distributed antenna system (DAS), since the distances from the remote antenna units (RAUs) to the mobile are different, the transmitted power of pilot symbol in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) needs to be optimized to provide a reliable channel estimation for the purpose of coherent detection.
