Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Spatial and temporal evolution trends of groundwater drought and its correlation with meteorological drought in Guizhou province

open access: yesAgricultural Water Management
Groundwater constitutes a vital water resource in karst regions, where conventional surface-based drought indicators frequently fail to accurately capture groundwater deficits. However, the applicability of GRACE satellite data for monitoring groundwater

KLK7 overexpression promotes an aggressive phenotype and facilitates peritoneal dissemination in colorectal cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

Hydrological drought dynamic using copula functions and drought center migration in the Ganjiang river basin

open access: yesScientific Reports
Understanding the spatiotemporal evolution of hydrological drought is essential for effective drought management. This study investigated hydrological drought in Ganjiang River Basin (GRB), China from 1959 to 2019 using observed and SWAT-simulated runoff
