Power conservation vlsi circuit

2012 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Education: Innovative Practices and Future Trends (AICERA), 2012
Low voltage operation can markedly reduce the energy requirements of digital circuits; however, in the face of variability it also greatly reduces the reliability and yield. In order to mitigate this effect, device dimensions can be increased and adaptive body biasing can be employed, but at the cost of potentially increasing energy per operation. This

Conservative Policies and Women's Power

The Journal of Sociology & Social Welfare, 1982
The recent setbacks imposed on the feminist movement by the forces of the New Right have led women to an increased understanding of the importance of power in maintaining male dominance. Although men exercise power over women in a variety of ways, a review of the findings of social psychology indicates that almosL all types of power derive from men's ...

Conservation of Hydroelectric Power

The ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, 1952
T HE development, use, and conservation of energy resources are indispensable to the physical progress of mankind. The high degree of correlation between the per capita use of energy and per capita production of the nations of the world is ample proof of this statement.

A Conservative in Power

Russian Studies in History, 2014
As an unbending champion of autocratic power, Nikolai Pavlovich Muratov offers—through a study of his life and career, especially in Tambov province—insights into the changing social climate of early twentieth-century Russia.

Description of nonlinear couplers by power conservation

Optics Letters, 1989
Poynting's vector theorem describes power flow on twin-core couplers with arbitrary axial perturbations, both linear and nonlinear. This bypasses the coupled amplitude formulation and unifies nonlinear two-mode interactions in general.

Conservative power theory implementation in shunt active power filtering

International School on Nonsinusoidal Currents and Compensation 2013 (ISNCC 2013), 2013
This paper analyzes the current decomposition, in three-phase, three-wire systems, based on the Conservative Power Theory (CPT), and the application of these components in the active filtering. The CPT current decomposition gives the active component of the current, the reactive component, which can be compensated or not and the void current.

Power Saving by Conservation Voltage Reduction Using Power Converters

2018 IEEE International Power Electronics and Application Conference and Exposition (PEAC), 2018
This paper explores methods of implementing conservation voltage reduction (CVR) through power converters and the cost saving benefits of CVR. Inverter reactive power control is simulated with a photovoltaic inverter to show the benefits it has on the voltage profile of an example feeder.

Rayleigh scattering and power conservation

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1981
In the usual formulation of Rayleigh scattering in terms of the quasi-static dipole moments of the scatterer, the scattered field is evaluated exactly to the lowest order (k_{0}a)^{3} where a is a characteristic dimension of the scatterer. Although the scattered power may be found correctly to order (k_{0}a)^{6} in terms of the scattered field, power ...
