Targeting the EpCAM‐AXL axis to overcome drug resistance in lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Lung cancer cells often evade therapy by hijacking signaling pathways. We reveal that cleaved EpCAM (sEpCAM) stabilizes the oncogenic protein AXL, driving NF‐κB and STAT3‐mediated chemoresistance. This EpCAM‐AXL axis identifies a high‐risk patient subset with poor prognosis.

Novel Resonant DC Breaker with Capacitor Self-Charging by Controllable Injection Energy and Internal Overvoltage Suppression

open access: yesEnergies
With the rapid development of DC grids, resonant DC circuit breakers (RDCBs) have become critical for fault isolation. However, existing RDCBs often suffer from severe energy mismatches, and components, including mechanical switches, resonant capacitors,

Multi-Parameter Sensitivity Analysis and Engineering Configuration Optimization Strategies for Sheath Protectors in 220 kV Cable Systems Based on Overvoltage Characteristic Analysis

open access: yesEnergies
This paper focuses on 220 kV cable sheath overvoltage caused by three typical operating conditions: harmonics, short-circuits, and lightning strikes. A sheath voltage simulation model on the 220 kV side is developed in PSCAD.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

The effects of priming intermittent theta-burst stimulation on phase-amplitude coupling and its directionality in Alzheimer’s disease rats

open access: yesBrain-Apparatus Communication
Aim Intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) shows promise in alleviating cognitive dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases. Pre-treatment with iTBS could potentially modulate the threshold of synaptic plasticity, which may enhanc the facilitative ...
