Cancer‐associated mutations in endometriosis reframe a benign disease through molecular oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review aims to comprehensively analyse cancer‐associated somatic mutations (CAMs) present in endometriotic lesions, emphasizing their biological roles, spatial distribution and implications for translational applications in medicine. By contextualizing a benign state within a genomic framework, this analysis seeks to establish its value as a ...

A Hybrid GB-PINN Framework for Efficient Prediction of Arc Parameters in Low-Voltage Electrical Contacts

open access: yesEnergies
Low-voltage electrical contacts are core components of power distribution systems, renewable energy installations, and industrial automation equipment. The electric arc generated during contact switching is the primary cause of contact erosion, material ...

Profiling neoadjuvant therapy response in rectal cancer using meta‐analysis of publicly available transcriptomic RNA‐seq datasets

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates publicly available transcriptomic datasets to identify molecular signatures associated with response to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy in locally advanced rectal cancer. By analyzing a combination of multiple cohorts with bioinformatics approaches, we reveal biological pathways and immune‐related features that may improve ...

A Comprehensive Review of Reliability Analysis for Pulsed Power Supplies

open access: yesEnergies
Achieving high reliability remains the critical challenge for pulsed power supplies (PPS), whose core components are susceptible to severe degradation and catastrophic failure due to long-term operation under electrical, thermal and magnetic stresses ...

Gut microbiota alterations in patients with non‐small‐cell lung cancer undergoing chemoradiotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We investigated the impact of concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT) on the gut microbiota in patients with locally advanced non‐small‐cell lung cancer. Overall gut microbiota composition remained largely stable throughout CRT while antibiotic exposure may influence microbial diversity.

Behind-the-Meter PV Disaggregation Under Limited Sample Budget: A User-Level Active Learning Strategy

open access: yesEnergies
Accurate estimation of Behind-the-meter Photovoltaic (BTM PV) generation is essential for load forecasting and grid planning. Most distributed PV systems are installed behind customer meters, making their output unobservable.

Predictive and prognostic biomarkers of Bacillus Calmette‐Guérin therapy failure in bladder cancer patients: A systematic review

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
High‐risk bladder cancer is typically treated with Bacillus Calmette‐Guérin (BCG), but 30–40% of patients relapse. No FDA‐ or CE‐approved biomarkers currently predict or prognosticate BCG failure. We systematically reviewed the literature and identified 72 eligible studies, revealing several promising biomarkers associated with BCG treatment response ...

Three-Phase Line Modeling for Unbalance Distribution Power Flow Using Forward-Backward Propagation Algorithm [PDF]

open access: yes
A direct modeling for three-phase distribution line is employed for unbalance power flow calculation. The effectiveness of the model is demonstrated by the needless of decoupling the system into symmetrical components or individual phases.

Unique circulating miRNAome signatures captured with distinct molecular states in Lynch syndrome and sporadic colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating microRNA profiles distinguish nonmalignant Lynch syndrome from cancer‐associated Lynch syndrome, sporadic colorectal cancer, and healthy controls. Age‐stratified analysis reveals disease‐specific regulatory states, and a six‐miRNA panel shows concordant separation in an independent colorectal tissue cohort.

Flexible mesh-shaped distribution network topology with adaptive geographical layered-clustered probabilistic planning

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
With the large-scale integration of distributed renewable energy, traditional distribution network topologies lack the flexibility to fully exploit wide-area source-load complementarity and flexible resources, limiting the efficient and secure ...
