Design and Simulation of a Wilkinson Power Divider with High Isolation for Tri-Band Operation Using PSO Algorithm [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Procedures in Electrical Technology, 2015
In this article, a microstrip tri-band Wilkinson power divider, using the equivalent three section transmission line instead of common quarter-wavelength transmission line with help of PSO algorithm, design and simulated. Optimized choices for electrical

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

Modified Wilkinson power divider for nth harmonic suppression

open access: yes, 2019
This paper presents a structure of the Wilkinson power divider that can suppress the nth harmonic output. The power divider consists of two lambda/4n open stubs, which are located at the center of lambda/4 branches and a parallel connection of a resistor

Compact Band-Selective Power Divider Using One-Dimensional Metamaterial Structure

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2019
A band-selective power divider is demonstrated for the first time. By replacing lumped element right-handed (RH) and left-handed (LH) transmission lines (TL) in a conventional Wilkinson power divider, it is possible to achieve both power division and ...

A Note on Divided Powers in a Hopf Algebra [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1960
The algebraic structure of a Hopf algebra over a field was established by A. Borel [I] (see Theoreme 6.1). The theorem asserts that if a Hopf algebra is finitely generated in each dimension and the field is perfect then it is algebraically isomorphic to a tensdr product of monogenic exterior and polynomial algebras (the latter possibly truncated if the

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.

Controlled power flow capacitive divider for electric power tapping

open access: yes, 2006
: Capacitive divider systems for tapping electric power from high voltage transmission lines are known to exhibit certain detrimental problems of stability, sub-resonance harmonic oscillations, and ferroresonance when coupled with non-linear loads.
