β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Computational handbook for power line engineers
The high voltage power network in Sweden consists mainly of overhead power lines, that is conductors suspended in the air by supports. Ideally when projecting a power line, all supports should be placed equidistantly and the conductors should be suspended at equal height.

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Probabilistic optimal power flow computation for power grid including correlated wind sources
This paper sets out to develop an efficient probabilistic optimal power flow (POPF) algorithm to assess the influence of wind power on power grid. Given a set of wind data at multiple sites, their marginal distributions are fitted by a newly developed ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Laser Powder Bed Fusion of Alumina: Effects of Scanning Strategies on External and Internal Defects
This study investigates how scanning strategies affect pure alumina in laser powder bed fusion. Linear 45° scanning yields uniform surfaces but high porosity, while the island‐concentric strategy provides higher density with through‐holes favorable for infiltration. Findings highlight pathways toward optimizing defect‐free alumina parts.
