Particle and power exhaust for a fusion plasma
Nuclear Fusion, 1990For a continuously burning D-T fusion plasma the particle and energy confinement times have to be appropriate since otherwise the produced 4He and the energy cannot be exhausted. The upper limits for the 4He particle confinement parameter neτp(He) are discussed.

EMG median power frequency in an exhausting exercise
Journal of Electromyography and Kinesiology, 1993EMG median power frequency of the calf muscles was investigated during an exhausting treadmill exercise. This exercise was an uphill run, the average endurance time was 1.5 min. Median power frequency of the calf muscles declined by more than 10% during this exercise.

AbstractThe main features and engineering parameters of the ITER EDA design are described and the operating parameter space is surveyed. A key element in the design is the divertor which must exhaust the bulk of the power generated by α‐particles. At the fusion power levels envisioned, Pf⩾1500 MW, conventional divertors of the type developed in the CDA
