Hypersingular integro-differential equations with power factors in coefficients

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Математика, информатика, 2019
The linear hypersingular integro-differential equation of arbitrary order on a closed curve located on the complex plane is considered. A scheme is proposed to study this equation in the case when its coefficients have some particular structure.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

On the prime power factorization of n!

open access: yesJournal of Number Theory, 2003
In this paper we prove two results. The first theorem uses a paper of Kim \cite{K} to show that for fixed primes $p_1,...,p_k$, and for fixed integers $m_1,...,m_k$, with $p_i\not|m_i$, the numbers $(e_{p_1}(n),...,e_{p_k}(n))$ are uniformly distributed modulo $(m_1,...,m_k)$, where $e_p(n)$ is the order of the prime $p$ in the factorization of $n ...

Nonlinear Power Inductors for Large Current Crest Factors

open access: yesJournal of Engineering, 2013
A practical method is presented: how to adjust the inductance curve of a nonlinear (saturable) inductor with respect to a desired shape. For this purpose, a nonlinear model was developed based on finite element method (FEM).

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A structural model for mitigation measures of critical cost overrun factors in highway projects in sindh province [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Construction industry plays a major role in improving the socio-economic growth of any country. However, this industry is facing a serious problem of cost overrun globally and particular in Pakistan.

Factorization of powers in C-monoids

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2006
For commutative, cancellative monoids \(H\) the authors consider the set of lengths of a given \(a\in H\) \[ L(a)=\{n\in\mathbb{N}\mid a\text{ has a factorization into \(n\) irreducible elements of }H\}. \] If \(L(a)\) is nonempty for every non-unit \(a\in H\), then \(H\) is called atomic.
