Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Cooja TimeLine: A Power Visualizer for Sensor Network Simulation [PDF]
Power consumption is one of the most important factors in wireless sensor network research, but most simulators do not provide support for visualizing the power consumption of an entire sensor network.

Perturbative corrections to $B \to D$ form factors in QCD
We compute perturbative QCD corrections to $B \to D$ form factors at leading power in $\Lambda/m_b$, at large hadronic recoil, from the light-cone sum rules (LCSR) with $B$-meson distribution amplitudes in HQET.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Impeding Dendritic Corrosion in Silicone Gel Potted Power Module Isolation Trenches by Heating
Environments with high humidity and corrosive gases have been shown to cause dendritic corrosion growth in isolation trenches of power semiconductor modules. In their previous study, Rautio et al.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Analysis and Effects off Unsymmetrically Loaded Three-Phase Network
The paper analyses current and voltage unbalance caused by various unsymmetric loads in MV and HV networks. It refers to a different unbalance definitions and compares them with the values measured by apparatus dedicated to the power quality measurements.
