Analysis of power-flow equation
Abstract The qualitative properties of the power-flow equation for a transmission network are studied in terms of global and local aspects, as well as stability. Global aspects include estimates of the number of solutions and topological properties of the stable region. Local aspects are examined through bifurcations of the flow equation.

AC-DC multi-phase power flow algorithms for active distribution system analysis [PDF]
The analysis of the distribution system in the presence of distributed generations (DGs) with conventional power flow tools poses a technical challenge owing to higher resistance to reactance ratio, unbalanced phases, and topological structures such as ...

Turbulent channel flow past a moving array of spheres [PDF]
We have performed a particle-resolved direct numerical simulation of a turbulent channel flow past a moving dilute array of spherical particles. The flow shares important features with dilute vertical gas solid flow at high Stokes number, such as ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

A Mixed Uncertainty Power Flow Algorithm-Based Centralized Photovoltaic (PV) Cluster
With the large-scale centralized PV clusters connected to grid, the grid power flow has certain randomness. Considering the fluctuation of PV output, an improved Krawczyk-Moore algorithm in a mixed coordinate system is proposed to solve the uncertain ...

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Three-Phase Line Modeling for Unbalance Distribution Power Flow Using Forward-Backward Propagation Algorithm [PDF]
A direct modeling for three-phase distribution line is employed for unbalance power flow calculation. The effectiveness of the model is demonstrated by the needless of decoupling the system into symmetrical components or individual phases.

Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

A Unified and Efficient Approach to Power Flow Analysis
Highly nonlinear and nonconvex power flow analysis plays a key role in the monitoring, control, and operation of power systems. There is no analytic solution to power flow problems, and therefore, finding a numerical solution is oftentimes an aim of ...
