Periodic Power Fluctuation Smoothing Control Using Blade Inertia and DC-Link Capacitor in Variable-Speed Wind Turbine

open access: yesEnergies
Due to the structural aspects of the wind turbine, such as wind shear and tower shadow effects, the output power of the wind turbine has periodic fluctuations, known as 3P fluctuations.

Analysis of Power Fluctuations in the HRT

open access: yesJournal of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan / Atomic Energy Society of Japan, 1961
Power fluctuations in the HRT have been studied intensively. The power deviations have Gaussian behavior, and the standard deviations provide quantitative roughness of the reactor power. By use of auto-correlation analysis, resonance characters of the fluctuations under various operating conditions were obtained.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Multi-level Interval Rolling Warning Method for Distributed Photovoltaic Fluctuation Events

open access: yesZhongguo dianli
Under the influence of large-area extreme weather conditions, the impact of distributed photovoltaic fluctuations on power system balance is significant and may lead to risks such as curtailment of solar power and load shedding.

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Hybrid flywheel-battery storage power allocation strategy for smoothing wind power fluctuations

open access: yesAIP Advances
Power fluctuations in wind power generation, due to its stochastic and intermittent nature, have become a significant challenge for power system stability and grid integration.
