CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Bridging the Testing Speed Gap: Design for Delay Testability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
The economic testing of high-speed digital ICs is becoming increasingly problematic. Even advanced, expensive testers are not always capable of testing these ICs because of their high-speed limitations.

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.

Automated FRAP microscopy for high‐throughput analysis of protein dynamics in chromatin organization and transcription

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
RoboMic is an automated confocal microscopy pipeline for high‐throughput functional imaging in living cells. Demonstrated with fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), it integrates AI‐driven nuclear segmentation, ROI selection, bleaching, and analysis.

The use of real time digital simulation and hardware in the loop to de-risk novel control algorithms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Low power demonstrators are commonly used to validate novel control algorithms. However, the response of the demonstrator to network transients and faults is often unexplored. The importance of this work has, in the past, justified facilities such as the

Fault-Location Scheme for Power Distribution System with Distributed Generation [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2015
This paper presents a novel fault-location scheme for unbalanced power distribution system in the presence of distributed generation (DG). The proposed scheme first identifies the possible fault locations using a new formulation of the impedance-based method.
