Stability Analysis of Thin Power-Law Fluid Film Flowing down a Moving Plane in a Vertical Direction
This paper analyses the stability of thin power-law fluid flowing down a moving plane in a vertical direction by using the long-wave perturbation method. Linear and nonlinear stability are discussed.

On Hele–Shaw flow of power-law fluids
This paper reviews the governing equations for a plane Hele–Shaw flow of a power-law fluid. We find two closely related partial differential equations, one for the pressure and one for the stream function. Some mathematical results for these equations are presented, in particular some exact solutions and a representation theorem.

A solvent in suspension often has non-Newtonian properties. To date, in order to determine these properties, many constitutive equations have been suggested. In particular, power-law fluid, which describes both dilatant and pseudoplastic fluids, has been

Temperature dependence of the Power law exponent of relaxation in a supercooled Liquid
The dynamics of Lennard-Jones fluid is studied through extended mode coupling theory (MCT) with the inclusion of the slow mode of defect density. Inclusion of defect density facilitates the liquid like state for temperatures much lower than predicted ...

Speed of Sound in the Mass Varying Neutrinos Scenario
We discuss about the speed of sound squared in the Mass Varying Neutrinos scenario (MaVaNs). Recently, it was argued that the MaVaNs has a catastrophic instability which is the emergence of an imaginary speed of sound at the non-relativistic limit of ...

Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.

In this work, we analyze the characteristics of periodic flows in non-isothermal viscous fluid over a heated block in the presence of thermal plates at Reynolds number (Re=100).

Nonextensive diffusion as nonlinear response [PDF]
The porous media equation has been proposed as a phenomenological ``non-extensive'' generalization of classical diffusion. Here, we show that a very similar equation can be derived, in a systematic manner, for a classical fluid by assuming nonlinear ...

We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Simplified Pressure Drop Model for Laminar Helical Flow of Power Law Fluid
The theoretical models for predicting the pressure drop of the laminar helical flow of power-law fluids require tedious and complicated numerical calculations, which are difficult to directly apply to the field.
