An interchip Power Line Communication
2016 International Symposium on Integrated Circuits (ISIC), 2016Dense wired networks, such as ultra-dense EEG network, comprised of 256 or 512 electrodes for temporal and spatial analysis of the brain, demand a large amount of wiring. Instead of using a pair of wires for power supply and additional wiring for communication, the use of Power Line Communications (PLC) allows power and communication in a single pair ...

Towards power line communication in vehicle
2011 XXXth URSI General Assembly and Scientific Symposium, 2011This paper is a review of studies dealing with Power Line Communication (PLC) in vehicle. The electronic control units (ECUs) that replace mechanical or hydraulic systems require specific buses in order to exchange information between sensors and actuators.

Contactless Power Line Communications at 2.45GHz
2016 International Symposium on Power Line Communications and its Applications (ISPLC), 2016In this paper it is shown how a power line can be used to conductively carry and re-radiate 2.45GHz Wi-Fi signals over a distance. This can be useful when a conventional RF links' line-of-sight operation at 2.45GHz is obscured for example in multiple story buildings where Wi-Fi has difficulty penetrating.

A CMOS power line communication for EEG
2016 28th International Conference on Microelectronics (ICM), 2016New Electroencephalogram — EEG systems demand larger number electrodes, such as ultra-dense EEG network. They are constituted of 256 or 512 electrodes that require a pair of wires for power supply and additional wiring for data communication (active electrodes).

Communications on the power line
IEE Seminar on Passenger Car Electrical Architecture, 2000The motor industry has seen some major advances in electronic control systems. There has been an equally large proliferation of convenience and multi-media features in even the most basic levels of car. In the high-end luxury market OEMs consistently offer a whole host of new convenience and advanced control features.

On noise modeling for power line communications
2011 IEEE International Symposium on Power Line Communications and Its Applications, 2011This paper reviews existing noise models including both background and impulsive noise for the in-home PLC scenario, highlighting similarities and differences. With reference to the impulsive noise, it is shown that a simple model, in the frequency band up to 100 MHz, can be derived by considering the noise generated at the source and taking into ...
