Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Component Selection in the Additive Regression Model [PDF]
Similar to variable selection in the linear regression model, selecting significant components in the popular additive regression model is of great interest.

Power Prediction Method for Ships Using Data Regression Models
This study proposes machine learning-based prediction models to estimate hull form performance. The developed models can predict the residuary resistance coefficient (CR), wake fraction (wTM), and thrust deduction fraction (t). The multi-layer perceptron and convolutional neural network models, wherein the hull shape was considered as images, were ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

An online updated linear power flow model based on regression learning
The linear power flow (LPF) model is widely used in the optimization, operation, and control of distribution networks. These applications require the LPF model to be accurate, fast, and simple in order to simplify calculations as well as to efficiently ...

Empirical likelihood test in a posteriori change-point nonlinear model
In this paper, in order to test whether changes have occurred in a nonlinear parametric regression, we propose a nonparametric method based on the empirical likelihood.

Power properties if invariant tests for spatial autocorrelation in linear regression [PDF]
This paper derives some exact power properties of tests for spatial autocorrelation in the context of a linear regression model. In particular, we characterize the circumstances in which the power vanishes as the autocorrelation increases, thus extending

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.
