MMIC power splitting and combining techniques

IEE Tutorial Colloquium on Design of RFICs and MMICs, 1997
The most commonly used MMIC power splitters and combiners are the Wilkinson, bus-bar and parallel matching networks. The Lange couplers, distributed transmission line combiners and travelling wave combiners, whilst capable of monolithic implementation at mm-wave frequencies, are still generally used in an off-chip hybrid arrangement.
