In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

The structure and composition of exhumed faults, and their implications for seismic processes [PDF]
Field studies of faults exhumed from seismogenic depths provide useful data to constrain seismologic models of fault zone processes and properties. Data collected on the San Andreas Fault in the San Gabriel Mountains has shown that large-displacement ...

Critical investigations on performance of ANN and wavelet fault classifiers
With increasing demands and competitive business environment, the structure of power system has become very complex. Moreover, power system is a dynamic framework due to faults and rapid load variations.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Power Monitoring in Hybrid Power System With Fault Detection
Abstract— This project focuses much on the efficiency of monitoring process of Hybrid Power System and Fault detection. It aims to build a hybrid power system which is completely reliable on renewable energy sources on the generation side and monitor the power from Solar and Wind energy sources through a DC microgrid implementation The system is ...

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Gate-sizing-based single Vdd test for bridge defects in multi-voltage designs
The use of multiple voltage settings for dynamic power management is an effective design technique. Recent research has shown that testing for resistive bridging faults in such designs requires more than one voltage setting for 100% fault coverage ...

Determining the Fault Position in the Power System
This paper describes the determination of the fault location in the power system. This problem is solved in two steps: by determining the line on which the fault occurred using the classification algorithm of the decision tree and determining the fault location on the line by linear regression.

Collaborative fault-tolerant control of power systems comprising synchronous generator units
The inevitability of actuator faults within power systems, particularly those composed of synchronous generator units, poses a significant challenge. These faults, with the potential to induce frequency fluctuations, can lead to dynamic instability in ...
