Harmonic equivalent of power system
POWERCON '98. 1998 International Conference on Power System Technology. Proceedings (Cat. No.98EX151), 2002A new equivalent method for the electromagnetic transient study of power systems is offered in this paper. The paper also represents a real example, which compared the differences of equivalent and simulation results. A preliminary conclusion is provided for further study and discussion.

Harmonic Measurements in Industrial Power Systems
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1995Harmonic measurements are made in industrial power systems in order to: (a) aid in the design of capacitor or filter banks; (b) verify the design and installation of capacitor or filter banks; (c) verify compliance with utility harmonic distortion requirements; and (d) investigate suspected harmonic problems.

The Harmonic Analysis of Power System
Advanced Materials Research, 2011This document mainly analyses the sources of harmonic and harmonic hazards in power system. The article mainly from a few key links of power system which are electric power capacitor, power transformer, electric motors, relay protection to illustrate harmonic hazards and described harmonic treatment methods.

Power systems modelling in the harmonic domain.
1992Developed in the Harmonic Domain, a new and general frame of reference for Network Harmonic Analysis, a more rigorous harmonic modelling of power systems is presented in this thesis. Linear and non-linear components of a power system are modelled in this frame of reference.

A Review of Harmonics in Power Systems
International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education, 1982The paper reviews the subject of harmonic distortion from the point of view of the power engineer. It considers in this context the meaning of harmonics, what causes them, how they flow in the power system, why they are important and how they may be measured. Some unresolved questions related to the setting of limits are also discussed.

Power systems and harmonic factors
IEEE Potentials, 2002Harmonic currents and distortions in power systems are a natural progression in society's use of electrical equipment. A proliferation of harmonics can cause problems-some severe. However, the benefits we receive from electrification far outweighs the downside to this problem.

Expert System for Analysis of Electric Power System Harmonics
IEEE Industry Applications Magazine, 1995The proliferation of power electronics devices that cause harmonic voltages and currents and the widespread use of harmonics-sensitive electronic equipment are creating a near-epidemic of "power quality" issues that are being addressed by both users and suppliers of electric energy.

Rectifier Harmonics in Power Systems
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1980The effect of rectifier harmonic currents on power systems is described. Rectifiers and inverters require nonsinusoidal waves of current. These current waves are made up of a number of sine waves which are harmonics of the fundamental wave. These harmonic currents can excite resonant circuits causing them to ``ring'' and produce large oscillating ...
