Analysis of Transient Stability for Multimachine Power System

open access: yesInternational Journal for Research in Engineering Application & Management, 2020
The stability is an important guarantee for the safe and reliable operation of the power system, it is a decisive factor to limit the transmission distance and conveying capacity of the power system. Therefore, various measures must be taken to improve the system stability.

Using Support Vector Machine for Prediction Dynamic Voltage Collapse in an Actual Power System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
—This paper presents dynamic voltage collapse prediction on an actual power system using support vector machines. Dynamic voltage collapse prediction is first determined based on the PTSI calculated from information in dynamic simulation

Enhanced power system stability by coordinated PSS design [Correction]

open access: yes, 2010
A step-by-step coordinated design procedure for PSSs and AVRs in a strongly-coupled system is described. It is shown that it is possible to separate the design of individual PSSs and to separate the design of individual AVRs.

Electrified Damage in Motion Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The electrified damage in motion systems is a fundamental framework presenting the degradation pathway arising from the coupling of electrical energy transport with mechanical contact and interfacial chemistry. The framework positions electrified damage as a distinct degradation regime with unique characteristic surface morphologies and failures of ...

A new theory to aid in judging power system transient stability | A new theory to aid in judging power system transient stability

open access: yes, 2005
Inspired by the concept of trajectory sensitivity of dynamic systems and based on the knowledge of domain of attraction and asymptotic stability of dynamic systems, the authors proposed a new principle that could be used to aid in judging power system ...

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Hot‐Film and Calorimetric Methods With Transient Heating for Measurement of High Biofluid Flow Rate

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Accurate measurement of biofluid flow rate is vital for clinical diagnostics. We propose a transient heating strategy using short thermal pulses and peak temperature tracking to enhance the flow sensitivity of the hot‐Film and calorimetric methods. Simulations show how optimal heating time maximizes sensitivity across flow rates.
