Modular High-Frequency High-Power Transformers for Offshore Wind Turbines
Conventional line frequency transformers are commonly used for wind turbines to step up the low-level voltage of the generators to reduce the transmission losses.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Design of Power Transformer with Frequency 1 Khz
This paper deals with the noise level of power transformers operating at a middle frequency from 800 Hz to 2000 Hz. The factors that influence the noise produced by power transformers are size, design and operating conditions. The research shows that the

The Transformative Power of Birth
A mother recalls the home birth of her first child. Her story exemplifies the power of birth when a mother is supported to listen to her body and labor on her own terms, and she praises the comfort of home birth and the respect of midwifery care. She emerges from the other side of her birth empowered and transformed, ready to embrace motherhood.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Issues in integrating existing multi-agent systems for power engineering applications
Multi-agent systems (MAS) have proven to be an effective platform for diagnostic and condition monitoring applications in the power industry. For example, a multi-agent system architecture, entitled condition monitoring multi-agent system (COMMAS ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Frequency Domain Measurements for Diagnosis of Power Transformers: Experiences from Australia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and UK [PDF]
Power transformers and their performance and reliability in electric power networks are important research issues of power systems. Much information has already been collected and reported; however, it is rare to report comparisons of transformer service

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
