The effects of economic parameters on power transmission planning

No.98CH36056), 2002This paper has been prepared to evaluate the effects of economic parameters on the power transmission expansion planning. The uncertainties associated with capital costs is discussed. For this purpose, the inflation adjusted discount rates based on various models were used for comparing alternative expansion plans.

Planning and control in inspection robot for power transmission lines

A localization method of laser sensor navigation of inspection robot for wheel-line alignment is proposed. Hierarchical planning structure is adopted in the control system of inspection robot for power transmission lines.

Transmission planning considering spatial correlation of wind power
2016 IEEE PES 13th International Conference on Transmission & Distribution Construction, Operation & Live-Line Maintenance (ESMO), 2016Due to similar meteorological conditions, neighboring wind farm outputs are correlated, which usually results in amplified uncertainty.
