ABSTRACT Power system operation is inherently a sequential decision‐making problem, traditionally addressed through optimisation models built upon high‐quality load forecasts. However, the rapid proliferation of renewable generation and price‐responsive demands, such as electric vehicles and merchant energy storage, has introduced multiple sources of ...

KLip-PPO: A per-sample KL perspective on PPO-Clip
Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) is the standard policy-gradient algorithm for on-policy reinforcement learning. The literature presents it in two forms, a clipped surrogate that bounds the importance ratio between successive policies and a Kullback-Leibler penalty between them. These forms are treated as separate algorithms with their own gradients,

ABSTRACT We study how insurer competition affects premiums for fully‐insured plans in the employer‐sponsored health insurance market. By utilizing quasi‐experimental variations induced by mergers among national insurers, we show that increased insurer concentration leads to higher premiums, but there exists substantial heterogeneity.

Prospective subtyping of head and neck basal cell carcinoma by dermoscopy and handheld RCM
Handheld reflectance confocal microscopy, alone or with dermoscopy, increases specificity, maintains high sensitivity and improves diagnostic confidence for head and neck basal cell carcinoma. It may offer a non‐invasive alternative to confirmatory biopsies when planning micrographically controlled surgery in clinically high‐risk cases.
