Effect of PEO-PPO-ph-PPO-PEO and PPO-PEO-ph-PEO-PPO on the Rheological and EOR Properties of Polymer Solutions

Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, 2014
The rheological properties of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM) and PEO-PPO-ph-PPO-PEO (BPE) or PPO-PEO-ph-PEO-PPO (BEP) block polyether solutions are investigated here. Another hydrophobically associating polymer (HMPAM) is chosen as a contrast.

ASM-PPO: Asynchronous and Scalable Multi-Agent PPO for Cooperative Charging

International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, 2022
Wireless Rechargeable Sensor Networks (WRSNs) are especially promising in large-area monitoring tasks that are previously impossible to complete by traditional Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Mobile Chargers (MCs) in WRSNs are to cooperatively charge battery drained sensor nodes high efficiently and with a guarantee of sensors survival.

Solubility of carbon dioxide in PPO and PPO/PS blends

Fluid Phase Equilibria, 2002
Abstract Solubility of carbon dioxide in poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether) (PPO) and PPO+polystyrene (PS) blends (25–50 wt.% PPO) was measured at temperatures of 373.15, 427.15, and 473.15 K and pressures up to 20 MPa. The solubility in the blends increased with increasing PPO concentration.

Services and Charges by PPO Physicians for PPO and Indemnity Patients

Medical Care, 1990
Physicians who participate in preferred provider organizations (PPOs) usually agree to various types of utilization review and sometimes discount their charges or agree to accept lower fees. This study was performed to determine whether they provided more or fewer services to their PPO patients than to their indemnity patients and whether the ...

Effects of a PPO−PEO−PPO Triblock Copolymer on Micellization and Gelation of a PEO−PPO−PEO Triblock Copolymer in Aqueous Solution

Langmuir, 2005
The effects of a PPO-PEO-PPO triblock copolymer (25R4, PO(19)-EO(33)-PO(19)) on thermoreversible micellization and gelation properties of a PEO-PPO-PEO triblock copolymer (F108, EO(133)-PO(50)-EO(133)) in water were studied by means of micro-DSC and rheology.

Phase Behavior and Lubricity of Aqueous PEO-PPO-PEO and PPO-PEO-PPO Triblock Copolymer Solutions

Tribology Transactions, 2016
ABSTRACTAqueous triblock copolymer solutions are potential low-cost, eco-friendly lubricants. However, as a solution, their phase changes with copolymer concentration and solution temperature, raising the question, “Does the phase change affect the formation of adsorbed layer and the lubrication performance?” This article studies the copolymer solution

Local compositional fluctuations in PPO/HIPSand PPO/SBS blends

Journal of Polymer Science Part B: Polymer Physics, 1994
AbstractSolid‐state NMR relaxation has been used to explore the distribution of components in poly(phenylene oxide) (PPO) high impact polystyrene (HIPS) and PPO/poly(styrene‐b‐butadiene‐b‐styrene) (SBS) blends. The nuclear relaxation of PPO in the former system is single exponential for all compositions, but the relaxation of PS in the blend is simple ...

Aggregation Behaviors of PEO-PPO-ph-PPO-PEO and PPO-PEO-ph-PEO-PPO at an Air/Water Interface: Experimental Study and Molecular Dynamics Simulation

Langmuir, 2012
The block polyethers PEO-PPO-ph-PPO-PEO (BPE) and PPO-PEO-ph-PEO-PPO (BEP) are synthesized by anionic polymerization using bisphenol A as initiator. Compared with Pluronic P123, the aggregation behaviors of BPE and BEP at an air/water interface are investigated by the surface tension and dilational viscoelasticity.

Post-Pregnancy Osteoporosis (PPO)

Journal of Clinical Densitometry, 1998
Individuals with back pain during or immediately after pregnancy are suspect for postpregnancy osteoporosis (PPO). These patients are often diagnosed late if at all. This case report was selected to illustrate the presentation of such patients. Common criteria include back pain, spine fractures, occurrence in late pregnancy or within 3 mo postpartum ...
