Peptide Receptor Targeting in Cancer: The Somatostatin Paradigm
Peptide receptors involved in pathophysiological processes represent promising therapeutic targets. Neuropeptide somatostatin (SST) is produced by specialized cells in a large number of human organs and tissues. SST primarily acts as inhibitor of endocrine and exocrine secretion via the activation of five G‐protein‐coupled receptors, named sst1–5 ...

Wavepacket Dynamics, Quantum Reversibility and Random Matrix Theory
We introduce and analyze the physics of "driving reversal" experiments. These are prototype wavepacket dynamics scenarios probing quantum irreversibility.

Approximate computing is commonly employed in applications where accuracy is not crucial and aims to enhance circuit performance when inaccurate results are not challenging. The multipliers are power‐hungry, and their approximation has been the target of research, especially by using approximate counters.

A Multimodal Approach to the Management of Neuroendocrine Tumour Liver Metastases
Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) are often indolent malignancies that commonly present with metastatic disease in the liver. Surgical, locoregional, and systemic treatment modalities are reviewed. A multidisciplinary approach to patient care is suggested to ensure all therapeutic options explored.

Complexity in parametric Bose-Hubbard Hamiltonians and structural analysis of eigenstates
We consider a family of chaotic Bose-Hubbard Hamiltonians (BHH) parameterized by the coupling strength $k$ between neighboring sites. As $k$ increases the eigenstates undergo changes, reflected in the structure of the Local Density of States.

We study a classically chaotic system which is described by a Hamiltonian $H(Q,P;x)$ where $(Q,P)$ are the canonical coordinates of a particle in a 2D well, and $x$ is a parameter. By changing $x$ we can deform the `shape' of the well.

Parametric invariant Random Matrix Model and the emergence of multifractality
We propose a random matrix modeling for the parametric evolution of eigenstates. The model is inspired by a large class of quantized chaotic systems. Its unique feature is having parametric invariance while still possessing the non-perturbative crossover

A Geometry for Multidimensional Integrable Systems [PDF]
A deformed differential calculus is developed based on an associative star-product. In two dimensions the Hamiltonian vector fields model the algebra of pseudo-differential operator, as used in the theory of integrable systems.
