Hardware Deployment of Hybrid PQC. [PDF]

open access: yesIACR Cryptol. ePrint Arch., 2021
In this work, we present a small architecture for quantum-safe hybrid key exchange targeting ECDH and SIKE. This is the first known hardware implementation of ECDH/SIKE-based hybrid key exchange in the literature.

The role of the nucleus in the control of mitochondrial precursor proteins in yeast. [PDF]

open access: yesProtein Sci
Abstract Mitochondria are essential organelles of eukaryotic cells, with vital roles in energy production, biosynthesis of macromolecules, and intracellular signaling. Their function depends on a complex proteome with proteins targeted to different mitochondrial sub‐compartments.

Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Signatures Without Trapdoors [PDF]

open access: yesCoRR
Some of our current public key methods use a trap door to implement digital signature methods. This includes the RSA method, which uses Fermat's little theorem to support the creation and verification of a digital signature. The problem with a back-door is that the actual trap-door method could, in the end, be discovered.

Encoding-dependent generalization bounds for parametrized quantum circuits [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2021
A large body of recent work has begun to explore the potential of parametrized quantum circuits (PQCs) as machine learning models, within the framework of hybrid quantum-classical optimization.

Performance Evaluation of Polypropylene Fiber-Reinforced Pavement Quality Concrete Made with Waste Granite Powder

open access: yesBuildings, 2023
This research was conducted to evaluate the influence of waste granite powder (WGP) and polypropylene (PP) fibers on the performance of M35-grade pavement quality concrete (PQC). WGP was mixed in PQC as replacement for cement and was varied from 0% to 25%

On GPU acceleration of PQC algorithms. [PDF]

open access: yesIACR Cryptol. ePrint Arch.
The rise of quantum computers results in many cryptographic systems being no longer considered sufficiently secure. Algorithms from the field of post-quantum cryptography promise to provide security against the new systems.

A Programmable Crypto-Processor for National Institute of Standards and Technology Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization Based on the RISC-V Architecture

open access: yesSensors, 2023
The advancement of quantum computing threatens the security of conventional public-key cryptosystems. Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) was introduced to ensure data confidentiality in communication channels, and various algorithms are being developed. The

QKD-Enhanced Cybersecurity Protocols

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2021
Security of QKD is guaranteed by the quantum mechanics laws rather than unproven assumptions employed in computational cryptography. Unfortunately, the secret-key rates are way too low and transmission distances are limited. The post-quantum cryptography
