Irony Comprehension in Monolingual and Bilingual Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder

ABSTRACT This study examined verbal irony comprehension in monolingual and bilingual autistic children, focusing on irony recognition, intention understanding, cue use while deciphering ironic meanings, and error patterns.
