KINETIC STUDY OF THE ENZYME CONVERSION OF STEAM EXPLODED PAULOWNIA TOMENTOSA TO GLUCOSE
Paulownia Tomentosa was pretreated by steam explosion. The cellulase complex NS 50013 and the β-glucosidase NS 50010 of Novozymes AS were used for the enzymatic conversion of cellulose to glucose.

Investigation of the First Hydrogenation of LaNi5
The first hydrogenation of most metal hydrides is a lengthy process that usually requires high pressure and temperature. This, in turn, significantly increases the production cost of metal hydrides.

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Fatigue Crack Initiation and Growth in Nanocrystalline Ni at Multiple Length‐Scales
Overview of miniaturized in situ SEM fatigue setup and resultant fatigue crack growth data for nanocrystalline Ni. The presented study focuses on the analysis of fatigue crack growth rate (FCGR) in focused ion beam‐notched microcantilevers prepared from nanocrystalline (NC) Ni as a model material.

Kinetics of thermal decomposition of sodium hexafluorosilicate under isothermal conditions
The results of an experimental study of the thermal decomposition of sodium hexafluorosilicate Na2SiF6, performed under isothermal conditions at temperatures of 600, 700, 800 and 900 °C, are discussed. It is shown that the kinetics of this process can be

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.

Internal energy change and activation energy effects on Casson fluid
This paper examines the steady-state momentum heat and mass transfer flow of a Casson fluid flow in the existence of a pre-exponential factor. The velocity of the fluid over a vertical stretched pin changes linearly with the axial distance when a Casson ...

Effect of ultrasonic field on isothermal kinetics of fullerene polyhydroxylation [PDF]
The isothermal kinetics of fullerene polyhydroxylation under ultrasonic field was investigated. The isothermal kinetic curves of fullerene polyhydroxylation at different temperatures ranging from 293 K to 313 K were determined. By application of
