Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

Comparison of Libration- and Precession-Driven Flows: From Linear Responses to Broadband Dynamics
Libration and precession are different body forces that are ubiquitous in many rapidly rotating systems, particularly in geophysical and astrophysical flows.

Are Bipolar Jets Precessing? [PDF]
No one has drawn attention as to whether bipolar jets precess or not. We examine here the possibility of precession of bipolar jets from a theoretical point of view (Fukue and Yokoo 1986).We first characterize various models proposed for bipolar jets in the light of precession. That is, can they admit precession? If they can, how long is a precessional

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Magnetic resonance spectroscopy of perpendicularly magnetized permalloy multilayer disks [PDF]
Using a Magnetic Resonance Force Microscope, we compare the ferromagnetic resonance spectra of individual micron-size disks with identical diameter, 1 $m$m, but different layer structures.

Spin precession in anisotropic media [PDF]
We generalize the diffusive model for spin injection and detection in nonlocal spin structures to account for spin precession under an applied magnetic field in an anisotropic medium, for which the spin lifetime is not unique and depends on the spin ...

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Low-latitude climate variability in the Heinrich frequency band of the Late Cretaceous greenhouse world [PDF]
Deep marine successions of early Campanian age from DSDP (Deep Sea Drilling Project) site 516F drilled at low paleolatitudes in the South Atlantic reveal distinct sub-Milankovitch variability in addition to precession, obliquity and eccentricity-related ...

On the different flavours of Lense-Thirring precession around accreting stellar mass black holes [PDF]
Type-C quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs) in X-ray binaries have been often interpreted as a consequence of relativistic Lense–Thirring precession around a spinning black hole and they potentially offer a way to measure black hole spins and masses.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
