Results of the experimental research of the heat-transfer jet pressure to the rock surface during thermal reaming of the borehole [PDF]
The performed analysis of scientific sources confirms the existence of a small number of publications devoted to the experimental research of the gasdynamics and plasmodynamics of jets used as a heat- transfer medium in the thermal ...

Optical investigation of prechamber combustion in an RCEM
In this study, detailed investigations of scavenged prechamber engine combustion are performed experimentally in a Rapid Com-pression Expansion Machine (RCEM), which allows optical access into the main chamber. OH* chemiluminescence measurements combined with pressure measurements are used to study the effect of varying ignition timing on combustion ...

Prechamber Equipped Laser Ignition for Improved Performance in Natural Gas Engines [PDF]
Lean-burn operation of stationary natural gas engines offers lower NOx emissions and improved efficiency. A proven pathway to extend lean-burn operation has been to use laser ignition (LI) instead of standard spark ignition (SI). However, under lean conditions, flame speed reduces, thereby offsetting any efficiency gains resulting from the higher ratio

Laser‐induced graphene electrodes decorated with platinum (Pt) nanoclusters are engineered via magnetron sputtering to optimize hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalysis. By tuning Pt deposition time, a minimal Pt loading (60 s) delivers outstanding HER performance, balancing defect density and Pt2+ anchoring for superior mass activity.

This study investigates the role of glyoxylic acetal‐based electrolytes in enhancing the stability of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) formed on hard carbon (HC) anodes in sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs). It examines the effects of sodium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (NaFSI) and sodium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (NaTFSI) in 1,1,2,2 ...
