Immunochemical analysis of antigenic properties of MH134 ascitic hepatoma [PDF]

open access: yes, 1965
According to the data obtained in this experiment by means of the geldiffusion technique, the specific antigen was not detected in MH134 ascitic tumor, comparing the anti-C3H liver sera with anti-MH 134 tumor sera, though a loss of organ specific antigen

On the Use of Nearest Neighbor Contingency Tables for Testing Spatial Segregation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
For two or more classes (or types) of points, nearest neighbor contingency tables (NNCTs) are constructed using nearest neighbor (NN) frequencies and are used in testing spatial segregation of the classes. Pielou's test of independence, Dixon's cell-specific, class-specific, and overall tests are the tests based on NNCTs (i.e., they are NNCT-tests ...

TYPING GROUP A HEMOLYTIC STREPTOCOCCI BY M PRECIPITIN REACTIONS IN CAPILLARY PIPETTES

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Medicine, 1943
A method is described for performing type-specific anti-M precipitin tests on group A hemolytic streptococci in 1 mm. capillary pipettes. These tests require so much less precipitating serum than was formerly used that the method now seems to be ...

Power Comparison between High Dimensional t-Test, Sign, and Signed Rank Tests [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
In this paper, we propose a power comparison between high dimensional t-test, sign and signed rank test for the one sample mean test. We show that the high dimensional signed rank test is superior to a high dimensional t test, but inferior to a high dimensional sign test.

The double diffusion precipitin test in human fascioliasis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Pathology, 1970
The recent outbreaks of human fascioliasis in Britain provided the opportunity for employing the double diffusion precipitin test in the diagnosis of this disease. In sensitivity and specificity this test appears to equal the complement-fixation test and has the advantages of simplicity and speed in its performance.

PRECIPITIN REACTIONS OF HIGHLY PURIFIED INFLUENZA VIRUSES AND RELATED MATERIALS

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Medicine, 1946
Antisera to purified PR8 virus, to purified protein from normal allantoic fluid, and to purified normal mouse lung particles were obtained from hyper-immunized rabbits and used in quantitative precipitin tests employing various purified preparations of ...

Sobre a domiciliaçao dos triatomineos On the adaptations of triatomineos to domiciliary habitats

A Method for Classifying Test Bench Configurations in a Scenario-Based Test Approach for Automated Vehicles [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
The introduction of automated vehicles demands a way to prove their safe operation. However, validating the safety of automated vehicles is still an unsolved problem. While the scenario-based test approach seems to provide a possible solution, it requires the execution of a high amount of test cases.

Precipitin-Production In Allergic Rabbits

open access: yes, 1917
siderable time previously with sheep blood resulted in the production not only of precipitin for horse protein, but also for sheep protein, as well as for proteins of several other species. The wide range of the precipitating action of the serum rendered
