Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) for Monitoring Seasonal Snow

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) offers a potential pathway for measuring seasonal snow water equivalent (SWE) and snow depth at spatial and temporal scales needed for basin‐scale hydrology. First proposed for seasonal snow more than 25 years ago, InSAR uses repeat‐pass radar phase differences to estimate changes in SWE or ...

Dynamical Model of Rotation and Orbital Coupling for Deimos

open access: yesRemote Sensing
This paper introduces a novel dynamical model, building upon the existing dynamical model for Deimos in the current numerical ephemerides, which only encompasses the simple libration effects of Deimos.

Statistical Scale Analyses of a Diurnal Periodicity in Auroral Kilometric Radiation, Observed by Wind/WAVES

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract The Earth's strongest natural radio emission is Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR), which is correlated with auroral intensity, and is a barometer for space weather. AKR is generated by the electron cyclotron maser instability, with sources on auroral field lines. Previous work on AKR and radio emissions from other planets (or stars) points to

Updated Interior Structure of Callisto From a Reanalysis of Galileo Data

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 15, 16 August 2026.
Abstract The internal structure of Callisto has been a long‐standing question since the Galileo mission. Previous analyses suggested a largely undifferentiated interior. We present an updated interior structure for Callisto derived from a reanalysis of Galileo's Doppler tracking data using new signal processing techniques.

Accuracy evaluation of Doresa and Milena Galileo satellites broadcast ephemerides

open access: yes, 2018
On 22 August 2014 Doresa and Milena Galileo satellites were launched in wrong orbit. In November 2014 European space agency started a salvaged mission to make two satellites usable.

Improved ephemerides for major targets of the Emirates Mission to the asteroid belt from multi-source astrometry

open access: yesFrontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences
Precise orbit determination of main-belt asteroids is essential for deep-space mission design, navigation, and target characterization. This study presents a refined orbit-determination analysis for 623 Chimaera and 269 Justitia, the two largest targets ...

Software Development of High-Precision Ephemerides of Solar System

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 1995
We solved n-body problem about 9 plants, moon, and 4 minor planets with relativistic effect related to the basic equation of motion of the solar system. Perturbations including figure potential of the earth and the moon and solid earth tidal effect were considered on this relativistic equation of motion.
