Precipitable water vapour measurement using GNSS data in the Atacama Desert for millimetre and submillimetre astronomical observations [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, Volume 528, Issue 3, March 2024, Pages 4582-4590, 2023
Precipitable water vapour (PWV) strongly affects the quality of data obtained from millimetre- and submillimetre-wave astronomical observations, such as those for cosmic microwave background measurements. Some of these observatories have used radiometers to monitor PWV.

Inducing Propeller Chirality in Triaryl Boranes with Chiral Amines

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 28, Issue 70, December 15, 2022., 2022
A three‐point interaction between a chiral amine and a triarylborane is shown to suffice to induce a preferential propeller handedness to the borane. Rotation of aryl blades can be avoided by incorporation of naphthyl instead of phenyl and a bulky amine component.

First observations with a GNSS antenna to radio telescope interferometer [PDF]

open access: yesRadio Science, 58, e2023RS007734, 2023
We describe the design of a radio interferometer composed of a Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) antenna and a Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) radio telescope. Our eventual goal is to use this interferometer for geodetic applications including local tie measurements.

PPP-RTK with Rapid Convergence Based on SSR Corrections and Its Application in Transportation

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
Real-time Kinematic (RTK) positioning provides centimeter-level positioning accuracy within several seconds, but it has to rely on a nearby base station.
