Machaeridians from the Middle and Upper Ordovician of the Argentine Precordillera
The machaeridians are marine Palaeozoic annelids, which developed a dorsal skeleton composed of calcite sclerites, achieving a world‐wide distribution from the Early Ordovician to the Middle Permian. The absence of records from this group is notable in Argentina in spite of intense studies of Palaeozoic rocks.

Lower Darriwilian radiolarians from the Argentine Precordillera
Abstract The first radiolarians discovered in the Ordovician of the Argentinian Precordillera are reported. The material is associated with conodonts indicating the upper part of the Lenodus variabilis Biozone (Lower Darriwilian, Da1-2). The low diversity radiolarian fauna shows similarities with Middle Ordovician radiolarians from the Akzhal ...

The mafic-ultramafic belt of the Argentine Precordillera: A geological synthesis
Abstract In central-western Argentina, a mafic-ultramafic belt occurs throughout the western margin of the Precordillera. This belt is interpreted as the suture zone between the Cuyania terrane and the Chilenia terrane, both accreted onto the Gondwana margin during the Early Paleozoic.
