Biomimetic TME‐Responsive Nanotheranostics for Precise NIR‐II Ratiometric Photoacoustic Imaging and Synergistic Immuno‐Photothermal Therapy

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A biomimetic Au/Ag@HMON‐NLG@CCM nanotheranostic is engineered for tumor microenvironment‐responsive NIR‐II ratiometric photoacoustic imaging and immune‐photothermal therapy. The integration of hyperthermia‐triggered immunogenic cell death with IDO‐blockade‐mediated metabolic remodeling promotes dendritic cell maturation and T‐cell activation.

Peptide‐directed nanovehicles enabling tumor‐selective ROS amplification and antitumor immunity

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Cancer cells are vulnerable to oxidative stress, yet exploit immune tolerance to escape destruction. In contrast, their metabolic profile is markedly altered to support rapid proliferation, accompanied by elevated production of reactive oxygen species (ROS).

Reproductive Challenges of the Ageing Female: A Comprehensive Narrative Review

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Changes in societal norms over the last few decades have resulted in novel family planning trends, notably delayed childbearing and increased maternal age at the birth of the first child. Despite advances in reproductive medicine, ageing poses significant challenges.

Advancing fetal autopsy in cases of maceration: Underwater dissection technique and its forensic relevance

open access: yesJournal of Forensic Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract Fetal autopsy remains essential for determining the cause of intrauterine death and for supporting clinical, genetic, and forensic evaluations. However, in cases of advanced maceration, autolysis severely compromises tissue integrity, often preventing adequate identification of anatomical structures and limiting the diagnostic and medico‐legal

Can universal cervical length screening with vaginal progesterone for a short cervix reduce preterm birth? A systematic review and meta‐analyses

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Preterm birth is associated with substantial neonatal morbidity and mortality. We evaluated whether universal cervical length screening with ultrasound, followed by progesterone therapy for women with a short cervix, has the potential to reduce the incidence of preterm birth.

Does the use of probiotics in pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes improve the maternal and perinatal outcome?

open access: yesDST, 2018
Introduction: Premature rupture of membranes (PROM) is a condition that affects 8–10% of all pregnancies, and contributes with 20–40% of preterm deliveries.

Maternal and fetal outcome of preterm premature rupture of membranes in less than 37 weeks of gestation in a tertiary care hospital - A prospective observational study

open access: yesNational Journal of Physiology, Pharmacy and Pharmacology
Background: Preterm premature rupture of membrane (PPROM) is the spontaneous rupture of fetal membranes before the onset of labor and before 37 weeks of gestation. This prospective study was done to know the materno-fetal outcome in the same.

Home telemonitoring in high‐risk pregnancies: A Finnish retrospective cohort study

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
This retrospective study suggests that home telemonitoring may provide an acceptable approach for managing selected high‐risk pregnancies. Safe and effective implementation requires careful patient selection and adherence to evidence‐based clinical protocols.

Survey of Pregnancy Outcome in Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes with Amniotic Fluid Index <5 and ≥5

open access: yesOman Medical Journal, 2010
Objectives: Preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) is among the most important causes of perinatal morbidity and mortality. The aim of this study is to survey the pregnancy outcomes in preterm premature rupture of membranes with an amniotic fluid
