Cilostazol in patients with heart failure and preserved ejection fraction—The CLIP‐HFpEF trial
• Cilostazol is an oral PDE‐3 inhibitor that may have advantageous effects in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). • Cilostazol significantly improved short‐term heart failure‐related health status scores (KCCQ‐12) and NT‐proBNP levels when compared to placebo.

Long‐term prognosis of pure and impure tachycardiomyopathy
Abstract Background and aims Tachycardia‐induced cardiomyopathy (TCM) is a reversible form of heart failure (HF) driven by arrhythmias, often atrial fibrillation (AF). While reversible, TCM's long‐term prognosis remains unclear, especially in comparison to HF with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF).

TV Regularized Low-Rank Framework for Localizing Premature Ventricular Contraction Origin
Premature ventricular contraction (PVC) can cause great harm to human health. Both invasive and non-invasive techniques for detecting electrical activity of PVC or locating ectopic pacemakers are used in clinical diagnosis.

Prolonged PR interval, first-degree heart block and adverse cardiovascular outcomes: a systematic review and meta-analysis [PDF]
Objective: First-degree atrioventricular block is frequently encountered in clinical practice and is generally considered a benign process. However, there is emerging evidence that prolonged PR interval may be associated with adverse outcomes. This study

Are premature ventricular contractions always harmless?
Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) are among the most prevalent arrhythmias. PVCs lead to haemodynamically insufficient heartbeats. Their presence is considered rather insignificant, but this widespread assumption is not supported by research evidence. We present three cases of patients commonly seen in daily general practice, with a range of ...
