Structure and Laminar Flame Speed of an Ammonia/Methane/Air Premixed Flame under Varying Pressure and Equivalence Ratio. [PDF]
This paper presents a joint experimental and numerical study on premixed laminar ammonia/methane/air flames, aiming to characterize the flame structures and NO formation and determine the laminar flame speed under different pressure, equivalence ratio ...

Large Eddy Simulation of a Bluff Body Stabilised Premixed Flame Using Flamelets. [PDF]
Large Eddy Simulations of an unconfined turbulent lean premixed flame, which is stabilised behind a bluff body, are conducted using unstrained flamelets as the sub-grid scale combustion closure.

Comparison of the Reactive Scalar Gradient Evolution between Homogeneous MILD Combustion and Premixed Turbulent Flames [PDF]
Moderate or intense low-oxygen dilution (MILD) combustion is a novel combustion technique that can simultaneously improve thermal efficiency and reduce emissions.

Turbulence–flame interactions in lean premixed dodecane flames [PDF]
Turbulent lean premixed dodecane/air flames are simulated in a doubly-periodic domain using detailed kinetics and transport over a range of Karlovitz number. We observe extensive thickening of thermal profiles through the flames that increases with turbulent intensity.

Numerical simulation of methane-hydrogen premixed flames on a Bunsen burner
Two-dimensional axisymmetric numerical simulations were performed for a Bunsen flame to investigate the OH concentration and heat release rate of methane-hydrogen premixed flames.

Numerical studies of the interaction mechanism between the pilot flame and main flame [PDF]
The interaction mechanism between the rich premixed pilot flame and lean premixed main flame was investigate in this paper. A two-dimensional numerical model was adopted with detailed chemistry and species transport and with no artificial flame anchoring

Non-Premixed Filtered Tabulated Chemistry: Filtered Flame Modeling of Diffusion Flames
The flame front filtering is a well-known strategy in turbulent premixed combustion. An extension of this approach for the non-premixed combustion context has been proposed by means of directly filtering counterflow diffusion flamelets. Promising results

Original scale simulation of gas explosion at heading face in coal mines
To study the propagation of gas explosion shock wave and flame in coal mine heading face at real scale, the numerical simulation software of gas explosion was used to establish roadway models of different scales, and the influence of premixed gas ...
